What is the iTero® Digital Impression System?
The iTero® Digital Impression System refers to an intraoral digital scanner that provides your dentist with 3D impressions/images of your teeth and oral tissue in an instant.
What is the iTero 3D Scanner Used For?
The iTero scanner can be used for any restorative treatment including crowns, veneers, inlays/onlays, bridges, and implants, as well as orthodontic treatments like Invisalign®. We use the scanner to provide the Invisalign® outcome simulator so you can see what treatment could look like for you before moving forward with it.

What Happens During the iTero Scan?
One of our doctors at Nova Dental Partners will scan inside your mouth using the iTero scanner which is shaped like a wand. It takes as little as two to three minutes for the digital laser to render a perfect 3D impression of your teeth and soft tissue structures.
