Sunny (Seung Yeon) Bae, DMD

Sunny (Seung Yeon) Bae, DMD, is an Associate General Dentist at Nova Dental Partners in Alexandria, Woodbridge and Fairfax, Virginia. 

Dr. Bae attended Case Western Reserve University for her undergraduate degree before receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. She completed her General Practice Residency at Summa Center for Dental Health.

Dr. Bae believes in constantly expanding her knowledge of the most advanced dental treatments available by attending continuing education seminars about treatments such as implant restoration, implant placement, wisdom teeth extractions, endodontic access, and cosmetic esthetic live cases.

The most important part of her work is meeting and talking to patients and being able to help them when they are in discomfort or have concerns about the aesthetics of their teeth. She particularly enjoys endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics.

Dr. Bae is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Virginia Dental Association (VDA), Ohio Dental Association (ODA), Northern Virginia Dental Society (NVDS), Greater Cleveland Dental Society (GCDS), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).

Dr. Bae grew up in Seoul, Korea, until she was 12 years old. She moved to Falls Church, VA, after living in a number of cities around the U.S., including Portland (OR), Hagerstown (MD), and Cleveland (OH). In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, playing volleyball, taking pilates classes (teaching at times), and trying new restaurants.
