This type of offer doesn’t come around often, so take this as your sign to make a change to not only your teeth, but to your life! Getting a smile that you are proud of can impact your life in more ways than you think — our patients that have completed Invisalign treatment can’t stop raving about how much the treatment has improved their teeth and how much it’s boosted their confidence.

When you come to one of our dental practices for a consultation, our experienced doctors at Nova Dental Partners will examine your teeth using advanced and pain-free imaging technology. If they see your teeth would benefit from Invisalign, they will suggest a treatment plan to straighten them and align your bite, giving you improved long-term dental health. Nova Dental Partners has been treating patients with Invisalign for over 20 years and is a proud Gold+ Invisalign Provider.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment option that consists of a series of removable clear aligners (trays) that gradually straighten your teeth over a period of between 6 and 12 months (on average) depending on your personal needs.

Benefits of Invisalign Treatment

  1. Improved Aesthetics: Our doctors can usually create a smile you love in a shorter period of time than with traditional braces. During treatment, the clear aligners are virtually invisible so they aren’t noticeable like metal braces.
  2. Better Dental Health: Although for our patients, the aesthetic benefits are usually the driver of committing to Invisalign treatment, the primary reason we recommend orthodontic work is to improve your oral health. Straighter teeth that are properly aligned allow for easier cleaning, therefore less dental issues, and better long-term dental health.
  3. Flexibility: Because the aligners are removable rather than fixed to your teeth, you can easily remove them when you need to (although we recommend wearing them for at least 22 hours a day to get the fastest results). With this feature you will gain more flexibility to be able to eat what you want, brush and floss properly after eating, and you can remove them if you desire for a special event.
  4. Comfort: Invisalign trays are custom fit to your mouth so are comfortable and there are no metal brackets or wires that can cause discomfort around your gums and cheeks.
  5. Known Outcomes: With our advanced dental technology, we scan your teeth and design a treatment plan custom to your needs. This means you can see your predicted results and understand what’s going on step-by-step.

If you are experiencing overcrowding, spacing, crossbite, overbite, or underbite, Invisalign treatment could be right for you. We offer Invisalign to teenagers and adults, no matter your age! It’s never too late to look after your oral health. We find that once our patients start taking action to improve their teeth, it actually encourages them to take care of them better, leading to even more long term benefits.

Don’t miss out on our amazing special offer. Book your appointment today as spaces are limited! We look forward to helping you transform your smile this summer at one of our dental offices across Alexandria, Woodbridge, and Fairfax!

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign Clear Aligners are a modern orthodontic appliance used to achieve straighter teeth and to help create an optimal bite. One of our experienced doctors will examine your teeth using advanced and pain-free imaging technology to develop a custom treatment plan for straightening your teeth. You will be provided a series of removable clear aligners that gradually straighten your teeth over a period of around 6-12 months depending on your dental needs. The frequency you change your aligner will depend on your individual needs.

Why Should I Straighten My Teeth with Invisalign?

Orthodontic treatment can provide the following benefits:

  1. Confidence: For many people, Invisalign treatment can create life-changing results that provide them with newfound confidence. It’s amazing how much your teeth can affect not only the way you feel but also the way you act.
  2. Healthy teeth and gums: Apart from the aesthetics, having a misaligned bite or crowding of your teeth can be detrimental to your oral health. You are far less likely to have issues with your teeth and gums down the line when you have straight teeth. Although Invisalign is seen as cosmetic care, it can also act as preventative care.
  3. Reliable and quick results: Our imaging technology shows you what your smile transformation results could look like, so you can make an informed decision before committing to the treatment.
  4. Flexible: Invisalign’s “SmartTrack'' material means that you can easily remove the clear aligners to eat any food you want during your treatment, as well as remove them for that special event or meeting (although most patients report that people don’t even notice they have Invisalign).
  5. Comfortable: Unlike traditional braces with metal wires and brackets that can irritate your mouth, Invisalign is much more comfortable and the treatment is less painful.

If this has piqued your interest, be sure to take advantage of our special Align Your Teeth Day promotion before it’s too late! Appointments are limited! Contact the Lake Ridge, Mount Vernon, Old Town, King Street Station or Fairfax team today to book your appointment and to take advantage of this special offer.

4 Reasons Why Advanced Dental Technology Makes Your Visit to Nova Dental Partners Comfortable and Stress-Free

November 11th, 2021

iTero Digital ImpressionWe hear a lot of reasons why people are nervous about visiting the dentist, but at Nova Dental Partners, we understand all the concerns and work hard to make your experience as comfortable and easy as possible. We do this by using new and advanced treatment techniques as well as the latest technology, eliminating many of the reasons why people might be reluctant to visit the dentist. One of the technologies we have invested in is the iTero® Digital Impression System.

What is the iTero® Digital Impression System?

The iTero® Digital Impression System refers to an intraoral digital scanner that provides your dentist with 3D impressions/images of your teeth and oral tissue in an instant.

What is the iTero 3D Scanner Used For?

The iTero scanner can be used for any restorative treatment including crowns, veneers, inlays/onlays, bridges, and implants, as well as orthodontic treatments like Invisalign®. We use the scanner to provide the Invisalign® outcome simulator so you can see what treatment could look like for you before moving forward with it.

What Are the Benefits of iTero Technology?

  1. Increased Comfort — No more sticky goop or gagging on the thick putty that you may remember from dentist visits in the past — the digital iTero technology is fast, goop-free and comfortable.
  2. Improved Transparency into Your Oral Health — Digital impressions give you the ability to see your teeth instantly in 3D during your consultation, allowing you to ask any questions you have about the recommended treatment.
  3. More Accuracy — With the original method of impression taking, there can be inaccuracies if there is any movement during the process — this means you may have to take the impressions multiple times! With iTero technology, your dentist will get the most accurate 3D image in one visit!
  4. Completely Safe — The iTero scanner is radiation-free so it’s perfect for everyone, even pregnant women.

What Happens During the iTero Scan?
One of our doctors at Nova Dental Partners will scan inside your mouth using the iTero scanner which is shaped like a wand. It takes as little as two to three minutes for the digital laser to render a perfect 3D impression of your teeth and soft tissue structures. We doubt you’ll need it, but if you need to take a break during the scan, just let your dentist know!We are happy to talk through any concerns you might have about treatment and procedures and how we use modern technology to provide our patients with the best experience possible. Don’t hesitate to book your next dental appointment at one of our five conveniently located offices.
