Nova Dental Partners is a Certified Invisalign Preferred Provider

Consider Invisalign treatment to get the beautiful straight teeth you've always wanted — without braces. A complimentary consultation with Drs. Kamran Tavakkoli, Kambiz Tavakkoli and Bryan Choi can determine if Invisalign clear aligners are right for you.

During your initial consult at our Mount Vernon, Lake Ridge, or Old Town dental office, Dr. Tavakkoli will examine your mouth and determine if Invisalign will be an effective way to meet your needs. We will also discuss the process of starting Invisalign, as is what is expected of you to ensure the best results.

What is it?

Invisalign treatment uses a series of virtually invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that allow you to smile more during treatment, as well as after. Invisalign clear aligners are made with 3D computer imaging technology and have been proven effective. More than 70% of orthodontists and dentists in the US and Canada are certified to administer Invisalign treatment, including Drs. Kamran Tavakkoli, Kambiz Tavakkoli and Bryan Choi!

Invisalign is a great way to fix many malalignment issues, such as crowding, spacing, overbite, and underbite. The aligners are clear and comfortable, and just as effective as traditional braces for many kinds of tooth movement. If you are dedicated to wearing your Invisalign aligners for the prescribed amount of time every day, you can expect beautiful results!

Why would I want it?

Not only are the aligners virtually invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are no problem. They are also more comfortable than traditional braces, with no metal or wires, which also usually means you spend less time at Nova Dental Partners getting adjustments. Invisalign treatment also allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan when you start so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.

How does it work?

You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to their final positions. You'll visit our Woodbridge, Fairfax, or Alexandria dental offices every four to eight weeks so Dr. Tavakkoli can ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time averages about one year, but will vary from case to case.

To prevent teeth from moving after the active phase of Invisalign is complete, you will need to wear a retainer. We offer both fixed and removable retainers depending on your preference.

At Nova Dental Partners, we take great care to make sure that Invisalign is the right choice. We design each case in a way that will achieve the best results, and we will work with you until your smile goals are achieved.
