Adriana Cartaya, DDS

Adriana Cartaya, DDS, is an Associate General Dentist at Nova Dental Partners in Fairfax. Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Cartaya brings extensive experience in comprehensive and restorative dentistry, along with a passion for providing personalized, compassionate care to every patient.

Dr. Cartaya began her dental career in Venezuela, where she graduated as the valedictorian of her dental class and went on to treat thousands of patients in private practice and through volunteer work serving underserved and indigenous communities. In 2012, she moved to the United States to continue her dental career and further her education. Dr. Cartaya completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, where she earned the Dr. Harry F. W. Dressel Award, recognizing the AEGD resident who best demonstrates clinical proficiency in general dentistry and a commitment to comprehensive patient care.

Her advanced training has given her extensive experience in restorative dentistry and comprehensive general dental care. As a bilingual dentist, fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Cartaya is passionate about building strong relationships with her patients and making them feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their dental experience.

Outside of the office, Dr. Cartaya enjoys cooking and going to the beach with her husband and two sons.
