Tooth Colored Fillings

     Tooth Colored Fillings are the alternative to silver fillings. It's composed of a complex mixture of plastic and Zirconia/Silica; hence the name composite.  Due to their continual improvements in quality, they have become much more durable, color stable and esthetically acceptable.

     A composite procedure usually on average takes about 30-45 Minutes.

Crowns

     Crowns are restorations that are used to compensate for insufficient tooth structure when a filling is not appropriate. They are also called CAPS. Other circumstances that a crown is utilized is on a broken tooth, large old filling tooth and a root canal treated tooth. Crowns can be made up of metal, porcelain or  both.

     A Crown procedure usually on average takes about 75-90 Minutes.

Bridges

     A few crowns invisibly connected together is called a Bridge. A bridge application is usually for missing teeth. Bridges are fixed appliances that will be cemented permanently on existing teeth.  They are esthetically superior and can give you many years with the proper home care and maintenance.

     Gum disease is a chronic disease which means that it happens over a long period of time.  It is important to periodically evaluate the gums and bone; since they are the foundation of  the mouth.  We will evaluate the gums and bone density upon your regular check-up visits and discuss with you the necessary treatments so you can maintain  a healthy smile.
